National Safeguarding Week gives us the opportunity to shine a spotlight on different aspects of abuse and themes relating to adults at risk. The Ann Craft Trust have historically coordinated the themes for Safeguarding Week and, having reviewed the topics for 2023 with the other LSABs within our area (IOW, Portsmouth and Southampton), we have decided that these are well-matched with our local issues and priorities:
Safeguarding Adults Week 2023 – Links, Resources, and More – Ann Craft Trust
In coordinating this week, we will be sharing national and local material and resources relating to each specific theme which you’ll be able to cascade within your organisation and networks and social media channels. To help with this, we have populated a webpage for each day of the week with information that can be accessed ahead of Safeguarding Week to help with social media planning etc. You will be invaluable in helping us to promote the core messages relating to our core safeguarding across the themes identified.
