Between February and March 2023, the Hampshire Safeguarding Adults Board (HSAB) ran a public survey to inform the safeguarding work undertaken by the Board and its partners. As well as asking about respondents’ understanding of safeguarding, the survey also asked about experiences supporting people with care and support needs as well as their experiences dealing with services that support adult safeguarding. Respondents were also invited to make suggestions for improvements to safeguarding services in Hampshire. In total 198 responses were submitted to the survey, of which 196 used the generic form and 2 used the Easy Read form.
Hampshire Safeguarding Adults Board would like to thank everyone who took the time to share their views, experiences, and ideas.
The results of the survey are being used to help inform the Operational Delivery plan for the HSAB for this next year against its strategic priorities that can be found here: HSAB Strategic Plan 2022-2025 | Hampshire Safeguarding Adults Board (hampshiresab.org.uk)
