HSAB Annual Report 2017 – 2018 Published (December 2018)

HSAB has published its annual report for 2017/18. This outlines the activities undertaken by the Board over the past year to enable it to fulfil its statutory responsibilities regarding the strategic development and oversight of adult safeguarding across Hampshire.  The report highlights the Board’s progress and achievements in delivering its strategic priorities and objectives and provides a review of its business plan highlighting challenges and also key achievements. It also outlines the areas requiring focus for the coming year.

Hampshire Safeguarding Adults Board (HSAB) we have information about Safeguarding Adults in Hampshire, including advice, leaflets and policy documents.

We are partnership committee, coordinated by the local authority to:

  • provide strategic leadership for adult safeguarding across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight
  • meet the requirements of The Care Act 2014
  • support current good practice in adult safeguarding

Safe Place scheme is for vulnerable people and people with learning difficulties. This scheme provides a safe place to go for people feeling scared or upset while out on their own.
