National Safeguarding Adults Week – 18th to 24th November 2019
Safeguarding Adults Boards across the country will be hosting National Safeguarding Adults Week on the 18th – 24th November 2019. The 4 Local Safeguarding Adults Boards pan Hampshire and the IOW will be supporting the week.
As well as any local initiatives that week there will be a national push on the following topics:
- Modern Slavery
- Self Neglect
- Domestic Abuse
- Transforming Care
- Safeguarding adults in sport and activity

Locally, we will be launching the Hoarding protocol, which is being coordinated and led by Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service (HFRS) on 18th November 2019.
